I have good news for you! God’s grace is your financial provision for every need! If you’re like many Christians, you probably feel that isn’t true. In fact, you may have already written me off as a “prosperity gospel” preacher. See, you’re missing out on God’s best because it’s not a prosperity gospel, it’s simply the gospel, the good news. It’s good news that not only is God’s grace for your salvation but also for your financial provision for every need.

I too didn’t truly understand that God’s grace had provided for my every financial need. However, through the Word, the Holy Spirit showed me how God doesn’t desire to see His children struggling financially. If you’re open to seeing a new perspective on this, read on.

God’s grace has provided everything that you will need

And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
2 Corinthians 9:8 KJV

This is a powerful scripture which is saying that you will abound in not just one area but in all things. God is saying to you today that whether you work a job, own a business or whatever your sphere of influence, God’s grace is sufficient for you. God’s grace is toward you.

God hasn’t left any area out. His word says that he has supplied all things that pertains unto life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3). God has given you jobs and business ideas, and He wants you to run with that knowing that His grace is sufficient.

Everything comes through Jesus, including your financial provision

He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
Romans 8:32

The Bible describes Jesus as God’s only beloved and begotten Son. Jesus was His most prized possession. The scripture above explains that the Lord didn’t hold back His Son from us.

Matthew 6:33 speaks of the Lord giving us the things that we have need of when we seek His Kingdom first and His righteousness. Our heavenly Father knows that we have need of things and if He has given up His Son, then He desires to give us all things that we need.

God is our ultimate source but He uses resources on this earth such as jobs, businesses and investments to get money to us.

God wants you to be wealthy to enhance the Kingdom of God on this earth.

This is a great truth that has been skewed somewhat in Christendom.

For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.
2 Corinthians 8:9 KJV

Jesus left heaven and God’s prized asset in heaven. He came down to earth, becoming poor for us so that we would receive His riches and the benefit of all that heaven had. God doesn’t intend for you to be poor.

In Genesis 13:2, it says that Abraham was very rich. He was rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold. If you’ve received Jesus as Lord you have become rich. You are a child of Abraham and therefore God intends for you to be rich, to enhance and build the Kingdom of God. He doesn’t want you to sit down and become gluttonous. He wants you to change the world through the sphere of influence that God has for you. It is so that the Kingdom of God can be established on earth.

But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.
Deuteronomy 8:18 KJV

God wants us to remember Him in everything that we do and in everything that He has given to us.

I’m sure you’re probably thinking, ‘But money doesn’t make you happy’. You’re right, it doesn’t. However, money allows you to do things that make you and others happy. For example, money allows you to build schools and determine that the curriculum will be based on the Word. Money allows you to have more time to be able to home-school your children and bring them up in the fear of the Lord. As it says in Ecclesiastes 10:19, money answereth all things.

God’s grace has provided anything you will ever need. Everything comes through Jesus and God wants you to be wealthy so you will advance the Kingdom of God on this earth.
